I have three products available. Web site creation, updating/maintenance, and the events calendar.
Web site creation - $50
I will create a new web site for you, or significantly overhaul an existing Weebly site for you. This is a one-time cost that includes consultation time to determine what content you want on your site, setting up the site (and unfortunately for me Weebly doesn't allow for the creation and use of content templates, so all sites are created from scratch even if you want the exact same content as another teacher I've worked with), and then the approval process where you decide if everything is how you want it. Even with all my Weebly editing experience, this entire process takes many hours and will only cost you a flat fee of $50. This is a very economically priced service. Now imagine how long it would take you to go through the process of setting up a site if it takes me an average 3-5 hours depending on content.
Updating/Maintenance - $20 a month (or $18 cash)
For the cost of about $5 a week (I recognize that I now sound like a TV charity) I will upload any content you wish - homework, newsletters, photos, upcoming events (a news flash on the main page alerting parents to any major events, classroom needs, schedule changes, etc. Those things happen a lot and having something on the main page is really helpful in keeping parents informed.)
Calendar - included in maintenance or $10 a month separately (or $9 cash)
This is my pride and joy. As a parent I want information on school events - all school events, whether they are sponsored by the school, the district, or the PTA - in one place. But no one had a calendar like that. I had to look in multiple places to gather all the information and then put it in my own personal calendar for the year. That's not even considering the fact that many events move or are added as the school year goes on. That's a lot of work, and most parents don't have the time or inclination to do that. I have created multiple Google Calendars that I can feed into a single calendar that gets displayed on your site. So your calendar can have all the school events, district events (like holiday schedules), and grade specific events (kindergarten tends to have different events than the first through fifth grades). Google also gives your parents the ability to save events to their own calendars if they wish. Because access to this calendar automatically gives you the benefit of my constant updates, adding the calendar to your site comes with a monthly fee. If you're already doing the monthly maintenance it's included. If not, it's just $10 a month and it's the school events that change the most.
